Under Construction Camps
Camp Denman opens its founding cohort on May 31, 2026. Between now and then, we're building it. Literally. Tent platforms, studio buildouts, grounds clearing, kitchen commissioning, orchard restoration, signage, paths, fire pits — all of it.
Under Construction Camps run every week from March 8 through May 24. You come for a week (or more). You stay in whatever's available. You help us build. You eat with us, work with us, and become part of the founding story of this place.
This is not a polished experience. This is muddy boots, power tools, communal cooking, and sleeping in your own tent or whatever shelter we've got standing. It is for people who want to be here at the beginning.

- Anyone who wants a week on Denman Island at the lowest price Camp Denman will ever offer
- Volunteers, friends, and future founding cohort members who want a preview

Schedule
Weekly sessions, Sunday to Saturday. March 8 – May 24, 2026.
Every week has work. What the work is depends on where we are. Show up ready to build.
Pricing
That covers meals from the on-site food truck and basic site costs. It's not a profit play — it's a way to keep the lights on while we build.
- BYO shelter (tent, van, RV) — no extra charge
- Indoor space if available — no extra charge
- Three meals a day from the food truck, included
- Kids welcome with a parent/guardian (no charge for kids under 12)
- Couples/families: $500 per adult, per week
- Extended stays: $400/week for 2+ consecutive weeks
No refunds, but if weather or conditions make a week unworkable, we'll reschedule you.

- Any specialty tools you want to bring (not required)
- Your own drinks/snacks beyond food truck meals
