Setting Expectations
What to Expect
We're being honest about this because it matters. Founder's Camp is not the same experience as Year 2 or Year 5. It's better in some ways and rougher in others. Here's what that looks like:
Brand new facilities
Some things will be dialed in perfectly. Others won't be yet. That's the nature of a first run.
Systems in real time
Meal service, studio scheduling, equipment workflows — we're building and refining these as we go.
Things will go sideways
Schedules will shift. Improvisation will be required. Flexibility is part of the experience.
Small cohorts, big access
Early cohorts are intentionally smaller. You'll have more studio time and more direct access to faculty and the founding team.

Dates
June 2026, four weekly cohorts. Sunday to Saturday (6 nights per week).
Location
37 acres on Denman Island, BC. Oceanfront forest between Vancouver Island and the mainland.
All-Inclusive
Accommodation in HVAC glamping tents, three meals a day, base studio access, all workshops and instruction.
