Before you begin
Bring an original idea and only files you own or have permission to use. You can plan the assignment without running a paid job. Existing age, consent and account restrictions still apply.
Practice uses the tools currently available to your account. Read the live estimate before each paid action; credits, subscriptions, provider access and faculty feedback are not included merely by reading this class.
The class
Define the task
Invent a practice business or use your own verified offer. Write audience, action, accurate benefits and limits. Never invent a testimonial, discount or product result to fill a template.
Work in the tool
Open Marketing Lab and build the offered brief or variant workflow. Use permitted visuals and exact factual copy. Preview each selected size; a good desktop layout may clip on a narrow card.
Compare and revise
Compare variants against one message hierarchy and call to action. Check URLs, spelling, contrast, crop and any QR destination. Keep claims identical across formats unless the space requires a truthful shorter version.
Finish and keep it
Download or save approved assets. Treat scheduling and connected social accounts as separate permissions and actions; a preview is not a published campaign. Keep a plan with owners and intended dates.
Your practical assignment
Deliver a brief, two coherent variants and a destination-and-claims checklist.
Review your work
Can the audience understand the same truthful offer and take the intended next step in each format?
- Purpose: the work answers the brief and the specific review question.
- Craft: you identify defects, compare a deliberate revision and verify the final file.
- Process: sources, permissions, settings and decisions are documented honestly.
