Before you begin
Bring an original idea and only files you own or have permission to use. You can plan the assignment without running a paid job. Existing age, consent and account restrictions still apply.
Practice uses the tools currently available to your account. Read the live estimate before each paid action; credits, subscriptions, provider access and faculty feedback are not included merely by reading this class.
The class
Define the task
Collect only images you own or are permitted to train on. Check the account, subject and consent gates. A likeness or minor-coded subject has stricter rules; do not substitute a checkbox for real permission.
Work in the tool
Open the style workflow and inspect the required image count, accepted formats and current estimate. Remove near duplicates and inconsistent examples. Give the style a clear intended use before launching anything.
Compare and revise
If eligible and available, train once and inspect the actual job status. A completed training job is not useful until its output can be selected by a rendering tool. Do not pay for an unconnected model route.
Finish and keep it
Test the selectable style with an original neutral prompt, keeping trigger words and settings. Review overfitting, copied details and unwanted likeness. Keep provenance and document deletion or sharing choices.
Your practical assignment
Deliver a rights-and-dataset plan and, only if connected and eligible, a reviewed inference test.
Review your work
Is the dataset permitted and can the resulting style be used through a genuinely connected tool?
- Purpose: the work answers the brief and the specific review question.
- Craft: you identify defects, compare a deliberate revision and verify the final file.
- Process: sources, permissions, settings and decisions are documented honestly.
Screenshots and video
